Mark Foster

Mark Foster is one of Britain's most decorated swimmers — a six-time World Champion and one of the most recognisable faces in British sport over the past three decades.

But this conversation goes well beyond his professional career and achievements. In this episode of Midpoint, Gabby sits down with Mark for an honest and open discussion about his career, his life and his decision to come out publicly. Mark talks with real honesty about what that process was like, what it meant to him personally, and why he chose to share it.

His new book, My Double Life, tells the story of his pursuit of sporting excellence alongside the very personal journey of finding a way to live as honestly as possible — and it is out now.
