Nobody else can take a registered nick. Even if your connection drops, the nick stays yours and you're recognised automatically when you return.
Post to the feed, comment on content and like things. What you write collects on your profile.
Add friends, follow people, start a group or join an existing one. Group rooms open on the chat side too.
Request songs on YudumFM, open your own game table, and see your rating on your profile.

Sign up
A nick, a password and an e-mail address is all it takes. Pick the name you'll use in chat — it's one account; you won't need a separate chat login later.

Verify your e-mail
A link is sent to your address after signing up. Verifying is the only way to recover your account if you forget your password — don't skip it. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder.

What's visible and what isn't
Everything on your profile is public — your profile page is visible to visitors who aren't signed in.Your e-mail address and age are hidden by default; you can reveal them in settings if you like. Your password is never shown anywhere and cannot be read by anyone.
If you'd rather hide your profile entirely, you can switch it off in settings; then only you can see the page and your name won't be a link in the online list.

Are the chat account and the site account separate?
No, it's one account. The account you open on the site logs you into chat, and your registered chat nick logs you into the site. Same password.
Can I change my nick later?
You can change your display name any time. The nick used as your identity is fixed — your posts, friendships and group memberships are tied to it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can close your account in settings; your profile, posts and connections are deleted. Your comments become anonymous.
Will I lose my nick if I stay away?
A registered nick expires after 90 days of no use; a warning e-mail is sent first. If you haven't verified your e-mail, that window is much shorter.
