Yaşamı ve kariyeri
Sadler, 13 Nisan 1950'de Buffalo, New York'ta doğdu. New York Eyalet Üniversitesi, Geneseo ve Cornell Üniversitesi'nde eğitim gördü. 1977'de oyunculuğa başladı. En çok; Chesty Puller rolünde olduğu The Pacific, Luther Sloan rolünde olduğu Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Şerif Jim Valenti rolünde olduğu Roswell ile Grim Reaper rolünde olduğu Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Tales from the Crypt ve Bill & Ted Face the Music sayılabilir.
Ayrıca; Die Hard 2 filminde Albay Stuart, Demir Adam 3, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ve WHIH Newsfront adlı yapımlarda ise Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Başkanı Matthew Ellis karakterini canlandırdı.
Özel yaşamı
1977'den bu yana Marni Joan Bakst ile evli bir çocuk sahibidir.
