ASF, temel amacı aynı anda birden fazla hesaptan Steam kartlarını yetiştirmek olan bir C# uygulamasıdır. Belirli bir zamanda yalnızca bir hesap için çalışan, Steam istemcisinin arka planda çalışmasını gerektiren ve "oyun oynama" durumunu taklit eden ek işlemler başlatan Idle Master'ın aksine, ASF, arka planda çalışan herhangi bir Steam istemcisine ihtiyaç duymaz, herhangi bir ek işlem başlatmaz ve aynı anda sınırsız Steam hesabını yönetebilecek şekilde yapılmıştır. Buna ek olarak, sunucularda veya diğer masaüstü olmayan makinelerde çalıştırılması amaçlanmıştır ve tam çapraz işletim sistemi desteğine sahiptir, bu da herhangi bir işletim sisteminde . NET Core çalışma zamanı (Windows, Linux ve macOS gibi). ASF, muhteşem SteamKit2 kütüphanesinde yapılan devasa miktardaki çalışma sayesinde mümkündür.
