Paul Sorvino

Paul Sorvino (13 Nisan 1939 – 25 Temmuz 2022), Amerikalı tanınmış aktör.

Yaşamı ve kariyeri

Sorvino, 13 Nisan 1939'da New York'ta doğdu. 1956'da başladığı oyunculuk kariyerini 2022 yılındaki ölümüne kadar sürdürdü. Yasa dışı ganster ve kanun adamı tiplemelerini başarıyla canlandırdı. En çok; Paulie Cicero rolünde olduğu 1990 yapımı polisiye-suç türünde sinema filmi Goodfellas ve NYPD Polis Şefi Phil Cerreta rolünde olduğu polisiye türünde TV dizisi; Law & Order ile akıllarda kaldı. Aynı zamanda Amerikalı usta kadın oyuncu Mira Sorvino'nun babasıydı.

Ölümü

Sorvino, 25 Temmuz 2022'de doğal nedenlerden Jacksonville, Florida'daki Mayo Kliniği'nde tedavi görürken 83 yaşında ölmüştür. Cenazesi memleketi New York'a götürülerek Calvary Mezarlığı'nda icra olmuştur.
