The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
As monster slayer for hire Geralt of Rivia, you search a war-torn dark fantasy world for your adopted daughter Ciri.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world role-playing game released by CD PROJEKT RED in 2015. Set in the world of Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, it puts you in the boots of Geralt of Rivia, a witcher who hunts monsters for coin.
At the heart of the story is Ciri, Geralt's adopted daughter, pursued by the spectral riders of the Wild Hunt. You follow her trail across the war-torn swamps of Velen, the crowded streets of Novigrad and the islands of Skellige.

Monster hunts play out like small detective stories: you read the tracks, find the creature's weakness and prepare the right oil and sign before the fight. Many side quests are written with as much care as the main story, and the choices you make come back to you later.
The Remastered edition updates the graphics and interface and includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. The main story alone runs for dozens of hours; with the expansions it easily passes a hundred.
