What's on a profile?

Every profile answers the same questions: who this is, what they did and why they are known. Alongside actors, singers, writers, athletes and historical figures, you will find football and basketball clubs, leagues and TV channels. Each card shows a short description and a topic label, and each page has the full article, a photo when one is available and related profiles. The information is based on Wikipedia.

How profiles connect to the rest of the site

Profiles line up with the cast members, directors and writers of the titles on the film and series pages, plus clubs and leagues from the sports section. If a name in a cast list catches your eye, its profile is often already here, and the titles mentioned in a profile link back to their own pages.

Browsing and search

Use the letter bar to narrow the list by first letter, or type a name into the search box. Each letter has its own pages, so you can work through the list step by step. The English list is smaller than the Turkish one and grows over time, starting with the most-read people.
