Süleyman Çakır, born in 1964 and died on April 8, 2004, is one of the fictional characters of the Kurtlar Vadisi series; His role was played by Oktay Kaynarca. Çakır, who is of Laz origin, lost his father in the mosque courtyard when he was only seven years old, and this event caused him to have a deep fear of mosques.
After his father died, he started selling rice and chickpeas at home to support his mother Emine and sister Derya; But a police officer noticed the illegal trade and beat them both. After the incident, when the police officer's sister had a shooting accident, Çakır went black and stabbed the police members to death one by one and was imprisoned for this murder.
When his mother and sister are left alone in prison, he makes a deal with Duran Şatıroğlu (Duran Emmi); Emmi later becomes her mentor, provides financial support to her family and allows Derya to study architecture.
Çakır, who entered the mafia world through Duran Emmi, dealt with cigarette smuggling and became one of the well-known names of bullying by marrying Laz Ziya's daughter Nesrin Yılmaz. Çakır, who entered Sawere Necmi's hierarchy, attracted attention by acting as the triggerman of the "Three Murders". Thanks to this success, the Council of Wolves gives him permission to open a casino.
However, this initiative led to conflicts with Şevko and later with Tombalacı Mehmet; When Tombalacı Mehmet reveals the casino, Çakır goes to prison once again, but is released with the intervention of lawyer Elif Eylül and her partner Polat.
While the council was trying to destroy Çakır's dark affairs, he received the title of "Istanbul Ambassador" as a result of making peace with Tombalacı Mehmet on the orders of Baron Mehmet Karahanlı and torturing and killing his enemy as a reward for his loyalty to him. While fighting against drugs in his last years, he also encounters an assassination attempt against Baron at a conference; The Baron criticizes his rise and “breaks his pen” and sends the pieces to Saw.
Sawere Necmi instructs Halit, an officer in Cerrahpaşa, to kill Çakır; Halit shoots Çakır in an ambush, and the seriously injured character dies in the hospital. His friend Polat Alemdar next to him calls him "Canpolat" and mourns deeply over Çakır's death.
