YudumSosyal is the platform behind Yudum.NET. Chat rooms, a social feed, groups, messaging, voice and video calls, live streaming, radio and games live under one roof — all with one account. The name you use in chat is your name on the site; what you share on the site stays on your profile, and a friend you add in chat is your friend in the feed too.
Membership and every feature are free. You join from your browser: nothing to install, no plug-ins — the same on a computer, tablet or phone. The interface is available in English and Turkish.
💬 Chat
Rooms open since 1998 — from your browser or from your favourite IRC client.
🌐 Social
We stay together outside the chat too: share, follow, start a group.
🎙️ Voice, video and streaming
All inside your browser; just allow your microphone and camera.
🎲 Games
Find an opponent, take a seat, chat while you play.
📚 Worth reading and watching
Fresh every day alongside the chat (mostly in Turkish).
🔐 Your account and your safety
Signing up takes a minute, and your account is always in your hands.
🛠️ YudumSosyal for your own community
You can run the software behind Yudum.NET on your own domain.
The chat server and its services, the website and admin panel, webchat, voice and video calls, live streaming and radio come in one package. No installing separate pieces of software and wiring them together.
Four ways to install: standalone, or behind nginx, Apache or Caddy. A standalone install needs no separate web server in front of it; the installer obtains the security certificate itself and renews it before it expires. If your server already runs a web server, YudumSosyal sits behind it.
- Easy installation: a single command, and you create the first administrator account during setup. If you like, it first checks your server without changing anything.
- Safe updates: an update takes a backup first and keeps your data and settings; if you don't like it, one command takes you back to the previous version.
- Several sites: each domain gets its own rooms, guest name and language setup.
- Server linking: join more than one server into a single chat network.
- Signed package: an installation whose files have been altered will not run.
- Access from any device: your users install nothing; Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS — an up-to-date browser is enough.
If you'd like to run it for your community, write to us.
🧩 What makes it different?
We don't use an off-the-shelf social network package or a ready-made chat server. From the chat server and its services to the webchat and this page, everything is our own software — written for the needs of a community that has been going since 1998.
That is why the chat and the site are not two separate worlds: join a group and you are in its channel too; block someone and they are blocked in both places. And we kept IRC — alongside the webchat, you can connect with any IRC client you like.
Note: at Yudum.NET we'd rather you didn't use IRC clients — we recommend the webchat.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Membership and every feature are free.
Can I look around without an account?
Yes. You can join the chat as a guest, browse the site and see a few posts from the feed. You need an account to like, comment, post and send messages.
Why do I need to confirm my e-mail?
It is how we know the account is yours, and if you forget your password, your e-mail is the only way back in. An unconfirmed account first gets a reminder and is deleted if the time runs out.
Who can see my posts?
Members can see your posts in the feed; visitors without an account see only the first few posts. To share with certain people only, use your group or messages.
Can I change my name later?
The name you choose when you sign up appears everywhere on the site and in the chat, exactly as you wrote it; since it is your account's identity, you can't change it yourself. If it really has to change, write to us.
How do I delete my account?
You do it yourself: in the account deletion section of Settings, enter your password, type your nick and confirm. Your account and your posts are deleted; comments you left on other people's posts stay as "Deleted user", so conversations still make sense.
Which devices does it work on?
Any device with an up-to-date browser: computer, tablet, phone. On a phone, if your connection drops, the chat reconnects by itself.
We note what changes and when in the release notes (in Turkish). The Help centre explains how things work; if you spot a problem or have an idea, write to us.
