Live Streaming

Anyone on Yudum can apply to broadcast. A stream is a shared space for the community, and the rules below protect the broadcaster as much as the audience.

Who is responsible

• The broadcaster is entirely responsible for the content of the stream — what is said, what is shown, the music played and how guests behave.
• Yudum provides the infrastructure only; streams are not reviewed in advance.
• Broadcasting copyrighted material (films, series, matches, albums) is not allowed. Any legal consequences fall on the broadcaster.
• The broadcaster is also responsible for the chat around the stream and is expected to moderate it.

Stream rules

• No illegal content, hate speech, insults, harassment or threats.
• No sexual content, violence or disturbing imagery.
• Advertising, spam and directing people to other platforms need permission from the staff.
• No sharing of personal data — address, phone number, ID — yours or anyone else's.
• Gambling, betting and fraud content are strictly forbidden.
• You must be 18 or over to broadcast.

Becoming a broadcaster

• A registered account that has been active for at least 30 days.
• No sanctions on record — no bans or restrictions.
• You have read and accepted the community rules.
• You intend to broadcast regularly; a channel left unused for a long time is released.

Applying

To become a broadcaster, get in touch with the staff. Tell us what you would like to broadcast about, how often, and any streaming history you have elsewhere.

Enforcement

A stream that breaks the rules is cut. If it happens again, broadcasting rights are removed permanently. Serious breaches lead to the account being closed and, where necessary, reported to the relevant authorities.

What you need technically

You connect with ordinary broadcasting software over RTMP or SRT; viewers watch in the browser with low latency. No plugin is needed on the viewer's side.
