Aslı Öngören, who was born in Istanbul in 1968, is known as a versatile name in the world of theater and cinema. While his father, Vasıf Öngören, was a theater writer, director and actor, his mother, Nuran Oktar, also lived a life intertwined with performing arts. After completing her primary and secondary education in Istanbul, Aslı started her education at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters in the 1985-86 academic year.
