Sedan Kapurtu, born in Istanbul on November 1, 1973, with his stage name Çılgın Sedat, is an artist of Sivas origin; He is a singer, actor and former football player. After studying at Kadıköy Public Education Center for four years, he started his musical career by playing tar and cümbüş, and masterfully plays instruments such as baglama, qanun, drums, drums and keyboard.
Çılgın Sedat, who married Özlem Kapurtu in 2005, has two sons: Siraç and Yağız. His eldest son, Siraç, born in 2006, began to struggle for life with cerebral palsy after suffering a brain hemorrhage when he was two weeks old; Due to this situation, Sedat had to sell all his assets to pay for his treatment and had great difficulties in paying his rent.
During this difficult process, he was selected as "Father of the Year" by OnurAkayMedya in 2017 with the votes of disabled individuals, while his wife Özlem was honored as "Mother of the Year".

Sedat, who did not limit his connection with sports to football, was also active in disciplines such as taekwondo, karate, kick boxing and served as a Muay Thai referee.
