Małgorzata Ostrowska is a Polish left-wing politician and teacher. He served as a member of the Sejm for four terms between 1993 and 2007, and served as deputy minister in two different ministries. Born in Malbork on 31 July 1958; Her birth surname is Kuźniewska. He died on August 8, 2024, at the age of 66.

He started his career as a Polish teacher. He completed his studies in political science at the University of Gdańsk in 1993.

Political career

He entered politics in the ranks of the Social Democracy of the Republic of Poland (SdRP), then joined the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD). He entered the Sejm from the Gdańsk region in the 1993 elections and won three more elections, remaining a member of parliament until 2007.

During the 2001–2005 period when the SLD was in power, he also served in the executive branch: in 2002–2003 he worked as deputy minister (state secretary) in the Ministry of Treasury and in 2005 in the Ministry of Economy and Labor from April to November.

After leaving parliament, he served as a councilor in the local government and was chairman of the social housing company in Malbork. He was buried in Malbork, the city where he was born.
