Nezihe Senikli was an artist who was born in Istanbul in 1918 and left her mark on the world of Turkish theatre, cinema and TV series. Having devoted herself to performing arts in the early periods of the Republic, Bakanlik also took the first steps of her career as a ballerina and actress.

She started her artistic career as a ballerina in 1932 with the musical plays "Yalova Türküsü" and "Sarı Zeybek" staged by Darülbedayi. Then she danced as a prima ballerina in the operettas "Lüküs Hayat" and "Delidolu". Skilled, he also gained an important place in the theater and took part in various plays starting from 1933.

After a journey from children's plays to City Theatres, he left his mark in over 100 plays until 1976. He took part in unforgettable plays such as "Epic of the Decade", "Foundable Uşak", "Deli Dolu", "Old Girl", "Deceased İpekçi", "Father of the Little Lady" and "Eight Women".

Senikli, who started his cinema career in 1939 with the movie "Allahın Cenneti", met the audience by appearing in many Yeşilçam films. Having married the actor Ahmet Tarık Tekçe, known as the "villain of Yeşilçam", Bakanlikli successfully maintained the balance between cinema and theatre.

Nezihe Senikli passed away in Istanbul on January 15, 2000. The traces he left in the world of cinema and theater are remembered as an important part of Turkish art. Senikli's filmography is quite rich; "God's Paradise", "Coffee Maker Beauty", "Troubled Spring", "Mermaid", "The Great Confession", "Burning Pipe", "The Woman Going Wild", "Private Square", "I'm Yours Until Death" and many more were important stops in her cinema journey.
