Born in Istanbul on October 1, 1975, Şahnaz Çakıralp is one of the successful actors of the Turkish theater and cinema world. An experience he spent with his family in Vienna played an important role in starting his acting journey.
Çakıralp is the daughter of a lawyer father and a businesswoman mother. After graduating from the German High School, he entered Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Theater Department to realize his passion for theatre. With the education he received here, he started to lay the foundations of his acting career.
Çakıralp, who worked at Istanbul City Theaters, had the opportunity to work with an important name like Kenan Işık. He improved his experience and talent in plays such as "Yaşar Ne Yaşar Ne Yaşamaz" and "Abdülcanbaz", in which he performed under the direction of Kenan Işık. In addition, he managed to make a name for himself on the theater stage by taking on the leading roles in plays such as İbiş'in Rüyası, Acaba Hangisi and Ideal Koca.
Şahnaz Çakıralp, who joined the Theater Istanbul team, took part in an international project by taking part in the Austrian operetta "Istanbul Way". This project was an important turning point in his acting career. He also played the leading role in the 1997 German television movie "The Road After Istanbul" and had the chance to work with master actors such as Wolfram Berger and Tuncel Kurtiz.
Çakıralp, who attracted attention with her performance in the TV series "Forgive Us Hocam" directed by Halit Refiğ in 1998, then appeared before the audience with the character of 'Rosa' in the TV series "Aşkın Dağlarda Gezer". In the same year, he also took part in the comedy series "No Man Comes Out of Space" and had acting experience in different genres.
