Suga, known by his stage name Min Yoon-gi, was born on March 9, 1993 in Daegu. Suga, a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and producer and one of the members of the group BTS, started his music career at a young age. Suga, who also takes part in BTS's solo projects, released the solo track "Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" for the first EP of the The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series. This track, released in 2015, was about the fears of adulthood in the late teenage years. The artist, who presented another solo work called "Intro: Never Mind" in the second EP of the same series, also contributed to the compilation album published in 2016.
In 2020, he released the song "Interlude: Shadow", which was included in the album Map of the Soul: 7. This song is from BTS's early "Intro: O!RUL8, 2?" It had a style reminiscent of his track and was supported by a music video that addressed the pressures of fame. Tamar Herman from Billboard deemed this song a "haunting, yet gritty track".
