Adnan Ayberk, with his stage name Yadigar Ejder (or Yadigar Kuzu), was born on October 5, 1951 in Sivas and died in Istanbul on March 4, 1991. Born as the eldest child of a middle-class family with six children, Ayberk left school in the third grade of primary school and went to Istanbul in 1967 and started acting in Yeลilรงam.
During a long career full of supporting roles, he frequently appeared in Kemal Sunal films, and is remembered with characters such as Mazlum in the movie "ลark Bรผlbรผlรผ", Kahveci Hamza in "Gerzek ลaban" and Gaffur in "Doktor Civanฤฑm".
It is said that the artist's nickname "Yadigar Ejder" comes from the fact that it reminds him of the name of Yadigar Aykut, the famous bully in Sivas, and that he grew up in the same neighborhood. This name is also associated with his friendships with the rowdy circle of Sivas and the time he spent in the club and casino circles in Istanbul.
Director Memduh รn remembered the moment he first met her and explained the details of the sewing of Yadigar's dresses.
The death incident in 1991 led to various speculations. While it was initially claimed that he froze to death in Taksim Park, different explanations were later put forward, such as a heart attack or brain hemorrhage due to high blood pressure and diabetes, or hitting his head against the wall as a result of an accident. The grave of Yadigar Ejder is located in Beyoฤlu Kulaksฤฑz Cemetery.
His life and art career are discussed in detail in Erhan Tuncer's work titled "Bir Yadigar Ejder", published in 2015.
