Yeşil Deniz (2014)

Yeşil Deniz tells the story of warm, sincere people living in an Aegean town called Yeşilova in the 90s. Yeşilova is a place where announcements are made 24 hours a day over the municipal loudspeaker, where everyone knows everyone else and has enough information to gossip about them. While the townspeople work in the fields they call Green Sea, their only source of entertainment is the town's radio, Ova Fm, and the radio broadcaster İsmail's request program. In this town, if a person sends a request to someone, that person must also send it to the other party. Otherwise, there will be no face left to stand out in the world. Of course, these requests are subject to a fee... In addition to being a public entertainment, the request program is also the biggest source of romance, with love stories never lacking in the town. “Green Sea” is not only the name of the field but also the name of life for the people of Yeşilova...
