Born in Mersin on August 22, 1983, Günşeli Deniz has lived a life surrounded by music from an early age. While taking his first guitar and singing lessons, he also discovered his talent for writing lyrics and composing. After going to a private school where she studied ballet when she was eight years old, she performed at the Mersin State Opera and Ballet and gained concert experience as a soloist and guitarist in the orchestra of Toros College.
In his youth, he went to Istanbul and recorded his songs with current Mor ve Ötesi member Kerem Özyeğen at Selçuk Başar's studio; He caught the attention of Başar and received an album offer, but he preferred to focus on his education due to family decision. Although he passed the university exams, he chose to continue his high school and university education in England and later in America due to his interest in the field of communication.
During her time in Los Angeles, she took part in songwriting and production projects with producers such as Stephen Singer, Cat Cohen, Simone Sello and Curtis Stevenson, and also received stage and voice training for three years as a student of the famous vocal coach Lis Lewis. While continuing her dance education at Millenium Studio, she continued under the guidance of Sasha Borzenko and Esra Karbek during her visits to Türkiye, and continues her singing studies with Canan Yaman.
After returning to Turkey, he graduated from Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Advertising with the "Tühid Altın Pusula" award.
Deniz, who started her album career in 2012 with her album "Kalp Ağrısı" under the umbrella of ML Music, has collaborated with names such as Sezen Aksu, Ozan Bayraşa, Mustafa Ceceli, Erdem Kınay and Emrah Karaduman. The first music video song from the album, "Kalp Ağrısı", was featured in the TV series "Adını Feriha Koydum", which was popular at that time, and the song "Uyman" from the same album was used in the movie "GDO Karakedi".
Deniz, who was nominated by the votes of the public in the "Best Newcomer Artist" category at the Kral TV Music Awards in 2012, released the song "Kol Kanat" in 2019 and two songs named "Gide Gide" and "Suya Gider Allı Gelin" with deep house interpretations of anonymous folk songs in 2021.
