Kübra Uzun is a queer singer, DJ and LGBTI+ rights advocate born in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul. He is one of the founders of the queer art project Through the Window, which is carried out jointly in the Netherlands and Turkey.

Born in Istanbul in 1980, Uzun was interested in music as a child and started playing the piano at the age of nine. The artist, who spent his high school years at Kabataş Boys' High School, performed as a soloist in the school orchestra and won first place with his band in the categories of best interpretation and male soloist at the Kasdav Inter-High School Music Competition in 1999.

Uzun completed his university education at the Musical Department of Istanbul University State Conservatory and then studied Stage and Performing Arts Management at Istanbul Bilgi University; During this period, she took part in various theaters and musicals and appeared on stage as a backing vocalist in the concert tours of names such as Candan Erçetin and Nilüfer.

Uzun, who directed his artistic career in different fields, worked as a coordinator at Galeri NON in Tophane for a while, and later took on the business manager of the music club called Kiki, which was established in Ortaköy, and started his DJing adventure there. Uzun, who played in venues such as Şahika, Babylon, Mecra and Anahit Sahne under the name "Q‑Bra" in Istanbul, appeared alone in the short documentary Room No. 2740, shot by Harun Güler in 2018.

In 2020, DJ and producer Mx. He jointly produced the song "ALAN2020" with Sür, and the song, whose lyrics were written by Uzun, was released on the same day of the Istanbul Pride March. The following year, he reinterpreted Mozart's work "O du eselhafter Martin", numbered KV 560, known as the "Friends Canon", with Lubunca lyrics and brought it to life with a four-voice a cappella recording and a video directed by Efe Durmaz.

In the same period, he presented his interdisciplinary performance titled “A Trans History Sung” via Instagram live broadcast, inspired by his personal life; This work was also shown digitally as part of the "Next Waves Theater" program of Germany's Volksbühne Berlin stage.

Uzun, who performed in the "Plastic Dreams Stage" program of the "A Matter of Pleasure" exhibition held at Pera Museum in 2021, brought a new perspective to online activities during the pandemic process by discussing the concept of Kitsch through today's visual culture.

In May 2021, the artist launched the Through the Window project together with filmmaker Ömer Tevfik Erten and Dutch writer Simon(e) van Saarloos. While the online platform offers exhibitions, performances and events to queer artists through social media and video conferencing tools, it also focuses on the experiences of the queer community during the COVID-19 period.
