Service Release 2 has a major focus on stability, correcting a few issues, some longstanding, which seem to have been worse in DBT <14.1 than in previous releases. - UIA-related crashes have been fixed. These were likely to cause problems specifically for JAWS users. - A problem that caused DBT to crash when closing documents on some customer computers has been fixed. This problem was highly associated with display of a translated line. - A bug that could cause DBT to crash when using Alt-arrow keys to navigate through a table has been fixed. Language Support - Several English (UEB) translation improvements: - Improved support for capitalization rules in section 8.8. - The "visible space" symbol (dots 346) no longer terminates numeric mode. - Contractions are more properly applies in several instances. - Import of the up-to-date Indian Rupee sign (U+20B9) is now supported as equivalent to the traditional Rupee sign (U+20A8). - Croatian localization is improved. Accessibility (Windows Only) - JAWS scripts are updated and improved: - A compatibility problem with recent versions of the JAWS script compiler is fixed. - Labeling a Unicode value as hex or decimal. - DBT's manifest file has been updated to better support JAWS. Mathematics - Further improves Equation Editor support: - Support for absolute values and other non-default delimiters - Support for combining arrows above - Some problems in the LaTeX importer have been corrected: - A Greek letter following a function name imports correctly - Use of $$ to mark the stand and end of displayed math is supported Command Line Processing - Command line switches that require file names, e.g. target output files and template names, now work with non-ASCII characters in the file names. - There is a new command line switch to write Refreshable braille output files: /lbf:path_to_output Other Improvements - Error handling when interacting with TactileView is improved. (Windows Only) - Page break ([lea]) codes with alternative fill characters are correctly handled. - Logging debug() and info() level messages from Python scripts is now possible.
