Cities: Skylines II is a city-building simulation developed by Finland's Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive. On an empty map, starting from a highway connection, you draw roads, designate zones and set up water, power and public services. You don't place houses one by one: when there's demand, citizens and companies move in on their own.
The game can look intimidating at first, with dozens of menus, info views and numbers. Most new cities fail for the same reasons: money runs out, drinking water gets polluted or traffic locks up. This guide lays out the basic order for keeping your first town alive.
Mechanics were checked against Paradox's official Cities: Skylines II Wiki; since the wiki has no dedicated controls page, the key list comes from widely published default keybinding lists. The game is patched regularly, so some values may change.
