Gears of War: E-Day Multiplayer Beta
The multiplayer beta held in August 2026 for The Coalition's Gears of War: E-Day: Horde Siege and 4v4 Versus.
Gears of War: E-Day is a shooter developed by The Coalition that returns to the start of the series, to Emergence Day, when the Locust invasion began. This page is for the multiplayer beta held before the game's release.
The beta ran over two weekends: August 6–10, 2026 for pre-order buyers and Game Pass members, and August 13–17 open to everyone.
It featured two modes. Horde Siege is the series' beloved co-op Horde mode reworked for bigger maps and more players. Versus is classic 4v4 player-versus-player combat. On PC, DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex support were tested as well.
The full game launched on October 6, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PC; beta players kept rewards that could only be earned in the beta.
