WARDOGS Playtest

WARDOGS is a tactical first-person shooter developed by BULKHEAD, the studio behind The Turing Test, and published by Team17. This page is for the closed test version that opened on Steam.
In each match 100 players split into three teams and fight over a destructible battlefield. Vehicles join the infantry fighting; you can build structures, prepare positions and upgrade your gear with the cash you collect during the match.
Its first closed test weekend in August 2026 passed 100,000 concurrent players on Steam. A second round followed for players who had pre-ordered or signed up for the test.
The game entered Steam Early Access in September 2026, and the modes and maps seen in the test keep growing in the full game.
