Alanya University is a foundation university founded in 2011 by the Hamdullah Emin Pasha Foundation in the Alanya district of Antalya. The law regarding its establishment came into force after being published in the Official Gazette on March 3, 2011. Although the university operated under the name of Alanya Hamdullah Emin Paลa University in its first years, it changed its name in 2023 and continued as Alanya University.
Continuing its educational activities at the Nimet and Abdurrahman Alaettinoฤlu Campus, the university is on its way to becoming an academic center in the heart of Alanya.
The language of instruction of the university is English. According to the 2021-2022 academic year data, a total of 423 students were studying, while 48 personnel worked in the academic staff. The university, which has been continuously developing since the day it was founded, will be opened by Prof. Dr. It continues under the rectorship of Turan Saฤer.
In this process, it has become one of the important educational institutions of the region by strengthening both its physical infrastructure and academic staff.
Alanya University has various academic units providing education in different disciplines. Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Engineering offer students a wide range of educational opportunities. In addition, the School of Foreign Languages โโaims to raise well-equipped individuals with language education at the undergraduate level. Postgraduate education is carried out through the Graduate Education Institute.
Open and Distance Learning Application and Research Center within the university aims to increase accessibility in education by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by technology. People who have been in the rector's chair since its establishment have also made different contributions to the development process of the university.
The founding rector was Prof. Dr. At the university undertaken by รmit Yalรงฤฑn, Prof. Dr. Mesut Gรผner served between 2022-2024. Prof. Dr. Turan Saฤer has been serving as rector since 2025.
