Atakan Özkaya

Atakan Özkaya is a Turkish actor known for his television series and theater works. He is widely known for his roles as Sarp Yılmaz in the TV series Kardeşlerim and Kaya Albora in Uzak Şehir.

He was born on June 29, 1998 in Istanbul. His mother's family is from Rize and his father's family is from Afyonkarahisar. He started acting with the work of Maltepe Municipality City Council, and then studied acting at Istanbul Beykent University.

Television and stage

His screen career started in 2014 with the TV series Şeref Meselesi and O Hayat Benim. In the following years, he took part in productions such as Vatanım Sensin, Kalp Atısı, Nothing and İçideki Ateş. He gained his real recognition with the character Sarp Yılmaz, whom he played in the TV series Kardeşlerim, which started in 2021 on ATV and lasted until 2024. He took on the role of Kaya Albora in Uzak Şehir, which was broadcast on Kanal D in 2024.

He played in the play Death's Sleeping Stand, which was staged at the theater in 2019; He also took part in the productions of Kanlı Nigar and Hacivat Karagöz.
