Bahtiyar Engin is a Turkish theater and cinema actor born in Ordu on 13 August 1965. After graduating from Ordu High School in 1983, he received his diploma from Istanbul University State Conservatory Faculty of Education in 1991. After his graduation, he joined the staff of Istanbul City Theater and played an active role in the establishment of Istanbul Public Theater in the 2006/2007 season.
His acting career has a wide range in cinema, television and voice-over fields as well as stage performances. For example, he voiced the character Sergeant Sykes (Psycho) in Turkish in the games "Crysis" and "Crysis Warhead".
