Bülent Emrah Parlak

Bülent Emrah Parlak was born on May 8, 1979 in Tunceli. The actor, whose mother is of Turkish origin and father of Kurdish origin, has a background bearing traces of both Eastern and Western culture.

After completing his primary education, he started his higher education at Anadolu University, Department of Public Administration, but left his education there in 2002 and focused on art life at Haliç University Conservatory Theater Department. In 2004, he joined the Beşiktaş Cultural Center Atölye Actors and in the same year, he had his first professional acting experience with the TV series Kurtlar Vadisi.

After taking part in the children's play "Sizinkiler" staged by BKM Mutfak, he became known to the masses by taking on various roles in the sketch program Çok Güzel Hareketler Söyle, broadcast on Kanal D between 2004 and 2007.

In 2014, he frequently appeared on the screens with the TV series Ankara'nın Dikmen, in which he played the leading role under the name Dikmen. Afterwards, Parlak took part in various television productions and movies. In 2020, he played the character of Lawyer Nedim in the TV series Arka Sokaklar for eight episodes. Most recently, he starred in the TV series Secret Saklı, which was released in 2022.

Bülent Parlak, who had a long-term relationship with actress Burcu Send, whom he met while working at BKM Mutfak, crowned this relationship with marriage in 2015. The couple has a daughter named Lisa from their marriage, which ended in 2020. The actor, who defines himself as someone with left-socialist views, was among the names that signed the declaration of the Socialist Power Union, which was established in 2023.
