Cengiz Sezici was born in Adana on April 5, 1950 and died in Istanbul on August 3, 2019. The artist, who stepped into the theater stage in 1969, transitioned to the world of cinema in 1977 and had a big break with the movie "Selvi Boylum Al Yazılım", directed by Atıf Yılmaz and starring Türkan Şoray, Kadir İnanır, Ahmet Mekin.
