Kanal 7 Media Group is a media company operating in Tรผrkiye, established with Islamic capital. On July 27, 1994, after BRT, managed by Nurettin Sรถzen, was closed within the scope of the RTรK law, then mayor Recep Tayyip Erdoฤan and his eight partners established the group to use the same frequency. In the same year, Channel 7 took over BRT's frequency and started broadcasting in Sarฤฑyer.
Today, the group includes the channels Kanal 7, รlke TV, Kanal 7 Avrupa and TVT, as well as the websites izle7 and Haber7.com and the radio station Radyo 7. The television channel, which previously broadcast under the name Haber 7, changed its name in 2008 and became รlke TV.
Zekeriya Karaman is the chairman of the media group. In addition, the group offers an internet platform called izle7 to watch the programs and series of Kanal 7, รlke TV and Radyo 7 for free.
