Born in Malatya on August 9, 1948, Defne Yalnız is known as one of the well-established names of the Turkish theater and cinema world; He has appeared in various TV series and films since 1974, and is especially remembered for his character Döndü in the TV series "Kaynanalar". The artist, who stepped onto the stage by passing the Ankara State Theater exam, had valuable teachers such as Cüneyt Gökçer and Mahir Canova during his education, and in 1969, he graduated from the same class with the leading actors of the period such as Füsun Demirel, Sema Çeyrekbaşıoğlu and Ayşegül Atik.

Defne Yalnız, who started her stage career at Bebek Belediye Casino in 1977, made the audience laugh by imitating famous names such as Emel Sayın, Neşe Karaböcek and Sezen Aksu; In 1981, he hosted the entertainment program "Curcuna" and then turned to tavern singing.
