Emma-Louise Corrin was born on December 13, 1995 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, England. Coming from an English family, Corrin's father worked in the business world and her mother was a speech therapist of South African origin. Corrin, who has two brothers named Richard and Jonty, who are two years younger than him, was introduced to art at an early age and formed the basis of his interest in theater and dance.
She began her art education at Woldingham School in Surrey, an all-girls Roman Catholic boarding school. Corrin, who developed her talent for performing arts with the education she received here, took a year off and attended the Shakespeare course at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He also worked as a volunteer teacher at a school in the Knysna region of South Africa.
While continuing his education at Bristol University, he transferred to St John's College, Cambridge, to further his goals in drama and art.
Corrin's big break came when she was cast as Diana, Princess of Wales in Netflix's hit series The Crown. Widely known and admired with this performance, Corrin managed to make a name for herself not only in England but also in the international arena.
