Ezgi Sertel was born on October 1, 1981 in Safranbolu district of Karabük. He completed his university education at Istanbul University, Department of Forestry Engineering and then stepped into the world of television. She attracted the attention of the audience with the character of Zeynep Teacher in the TV series "Tek Türkiye", broadcast on Samanyolu TV in 2007.

After leaving this project, she returned to the screens with the role of Leyla Teacher in the series "After Rain", published in 2006.
