Fixtures are the official match calendar showing which week, which day and where the teams will meet in a league or tournament. This plan is prepared before the season and announced to all teams at the same time.
The aim is to create a fair competitive environment on the field. The number of home and away matches for each team is equalized, providing the opportunity to play against the same opponent both at home and away; Thus, ranking at the end of the season is based solely on on-field performance, not calendar luck.
Preparation of the fixtures is done before the start of the season, either by draw or by a special computer program. In this process, broadcasting rights, security measures and restrictions such as teams in the same city not playing home games in the same week are also taken into account.
Periods where teams face multiple critical matches in a short period of time are called "condensed fixtures"; This situation occurs when league, cup and European matches overlap in the same week and coaches turn to squad rotation. You can easily watch the current match schedule, broadcast channels and start times on the Yudum.NET football fixtures page.
