Gaye Gürsel is a Turkish actress known for her supporting roles in television series and movies. She is best remembered on the screen for her roles as Safiye in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu and Esra in Arka Sokaklar.
He was born in Izmir in 1980. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 2002, and then studied acting at Müjdat Gezen Art Center. Before switching to acting, he worked in an organization company and lived abroad for a while.
Acting career
She appeared in front of the camera for the first time in 2004 with the role of Ninan in the TV series June Night, broadcast on Kanal D. In the following years, he took part in productions such as Lost Years, Tutkunum Sana, Asi, Elif, Makber and Teacher Kemal. The character of Safiye, which she played in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, introduced her to a wide audience.
In the cinema, she played the role of Sumru in the movie Future Uzun Sürer (2011), directed by Özcan Alper. This film became one of his most notable works in cinema. He then appeared in films such as Bu İş Bir Loneliness (2013), Meleklerin Miracle (2014), Müthiş Bir Film (2016) and Baba (2017). On television, she played the character of Feride in the TV series İşler Güçler.
In 2020, she joined the cast of Kanal D's long-running detective series Arka Sokaklar with the character of Esra.
