History
The club was founded on September 7, 1893, from the public. Although his first sporting activities were athletics and cricket, he later joined professional leagues and became active in football as of April 10, 1897. The founder of the Genoa cricket team is Englishmen, and the founder of the football team is James Richardson Spensley (1896).
Situation in the early years
The first stadium where the team played its matches was Piazza d'Armi'. He played his first cricket match in his history with a squad formed from the British navy. The first football match was against HMS Clementine.
