Hüseyin Özay

Hüseyin Özay, who was born in Samsun on January 10, 1960, is a voice actor and actor who passed away on August 2, 2021. He took his first steps by studying theater at Samsun Municipal Conservatory, and joined TRT in 1986, thanks to the voice-over exam he passed.

Ses Bir Association, which was founded in 1991 and of which he is a founding member, began to operate as a platform that brings the problems of the dubbing and dubbing community to the agenda. Through this association, Özay aimed to defend the rights of his colleagues and bring the art of vocalization to a better position.

In his acting career, he played various roles in popular TV series such as Behiç Türkcan, in the first episode of "Kurtlar Vadisi", "Arka Sokaklar", "Kavak Yelleri", "Kurt Law", "Şefkat Tepe", "Diriliş: Ertuğrul" and "Sen Anlat Karadeniz". In addition, in the field of voice-over, he voiced the characters of General Perez in the movie "Creature: Resurrection" and Faruk Adalır in the TV series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu".
