İsmail Ege Şaşmaz is a Turkish actor who was born on 25 November 1993 in Manisa. He continued his education at Polinas Anatolian and Industrial Vocational High School, and gained his first stage experience with the play "Emergency Service", which he performed at the Manisa Municipality Inter-High School Theater Competition.
Şaşmaz, who started his career with the character of Barış in the TV series "Guneşi Beklenen", took part in commercials of various brands after this series. The actor, who returned to the screens with the "Serçe Sarayı" project in 2015, played the character Rüzgâr in the TV series "Günebakan" in the same year.
In 2016, he played the character of Serdar in the TV series "Aşk Yalanı Sever", but took a break from acting for a while after the series ended early. After this break, he appeared before the audience as a guest actor in the TV series "Aşk Laftan Understanding".
