Kubilay Karslıoğlu

Kubilay Karslıoğlu is an experienced theater and cinema actor born in Elazığ on September 24, 1961. Karslıoğlu, who completed his education at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory Theater Department, started his artistic life at Bursa State Theatre. After working in this institution for many years, he transferred to the Istanbul State Theater and played important roles there.

The artist, who is also known as an educator, teaches acting at Istanbul Kültür University and Istanbul Bilgi University, where he currently works.

Karslıoğlu's stage work is not limited to acting; He also attracts attention with the projects he manages. He has created works in different styles, directing Sarah Ruhl's play "The Clean House" in 2010, Shakespeare's "Macbeth" in 2011 and Moliere's "The Ridiculous Gentlemen" in 2014. Among the latest projects he has directed is Berkun Oya's work called "Flag" in 2017.

The artist, who reached large audiences with productions such as "Ateş Dance" and "Sevgilim Istanbul" in the 1990s, later gained recognition with the character Hüseyin he portrayed in the TV series "Kuzey Güney".

Karslıoğlu, who also took part in projects on platforms such as Netflix and BluTV, added different dimensions to his career by taking part in international productions such as "Hakan: The Guardian" and "Aşkın Kıyameti". He continues his artistic life with projects such as "Galata" and "Secret Garden", which will be released in 2024.
