Mehmet Yılmaz Ak

Mehmet Yılmaz Ak was born on February 8, 1986 in Diyarbakır. The youngest of six siblings, the artist intensified his interest in art during his youth.

He left his higher education, which he started at Ege University's International Relations Department, halfway through and transferred to Kadir Has University's Theater Department and graduated from there. He stepped onto the stage with the group called "Tiyatro Non", which he founded during his university years. While continuing his acting career in various private theaters, his play "5th Step", which he wrote in 2008, won an honorable mention in the Mitos Publications Play Writing Competition.

His television career started with the TV series "I Miss You Too". After this experience, he appeared before the audience with many TV series such as "İçerde", "Çukur", "Ramo", "Dudullu Postası", "Hakan: The Guardian", "Halka", "Kurşun" and "Either Independence or Death". One of his most well-known roles was the character Prosecutor Pars in the TV series "Yargı". He gained a wide fan base thanks to this series, which has been on the screens since 2021.

He played Timur Yavuzoğlu, one of the leading characters, in the TV series "Bahar", which started broadcasting in 2024. The series, which is an adaptation of the South Korean production "Doctor Cha", aired on Show TV for three seasons and ended with its 64th episode. Ak left the series at the end of the second season, in the 48th episode.

He played Yılmaz Doğan, one of the supporting characters, in the TV series "Yeraltı", which started broadcasting on NOW TV in 2026. The series brings together action, crime and drama elements and draws attention with the direction of Murat Öztürk and the script of Raci Şaşmaz and Berna Aruz.
