Melahat Abbasova was born on July 8, 1966 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The artist, who graduated from the Theater and Cinema Acting Department of the Azerbaijan Fine Arts Institute, is known as a competent name both on stage and screen.

After starting her artistic career in Azerbaijan, Abbasova settled in Türkiye through marriage and continued her career there. The award-winning artist, who has appeared in theater, cinema and TV series, has proven himself in both acting and directing. Melahat Abbasova, who has been a member of the City Theater staff for many years, works in different branches of performing arts.
