Turkish businessman and politician Murat Koç, born in Gümüşhane, became a part of life on April 10, 1956. He started his business life in the construction industry and added success stories that will leave a mark in many areas over time.
Koç served as the Chairman and owner of Ege Transportation Inc. In addition, he took an active role as an Advisory Board member in the Aegean Region Black Sea Federation and as the Aegean region representative in GÜSİAD. Koç, who started his political career in the Conservative Party in 1983, served as Bornova district chairman and Provincial Deputy Chairman of Election Affairs in the Nationalist Movement Party. In the 25th Term General Elections, he took part in the parliament as the 2nd Region Izmir Deputy of the Nationalist Movement Party. However, he could not re-enter the parliament in the 26th term elections.
