Murat Serezli

Esat Murat Serezli, born in Istanbul on October 3, 1969, is one of the important actors and presenters of Türkiye. Serezli, who grew up as the child of an artist family, is among the names that have stepped into the world of theater and cinema, such as his father Metin Serezli and his mother Nevra Serezli.

Serezli, who studied at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Architecture, gained experience in different fields such as 3D animation, computer programming, voice-over and directing during his university years. However, the first steps of his career came from commercials. The artist, who made his name known to large audiences with the series of advertisements prepared for Profilo, was deemed worthy of the Crystal Apple Award for this work.

Then, he won the same award once again with the character "Commissioner Kemal" he portrayed in Axess commercials.

Serezli, who left her behind-the-scenes work behind after concentrating on her acting career, appeared before the audience with various roles on cinema screens and television screens. The artist, who attracted attention with his performance in films such as Av Mevsimi and Devrim Arabaları, appeared on the screens for a long time as the presenter of the Win Before It Closes competition broadcast on ATV in 2013.

He received wide acclaim for his character "Veysel Yarbay" in the 2016 film Dağ II. He gave a new breath to his career by portraying the role of "Colonel Halil İbrahim Kopuz" in the TV series Savaşçı, which was broadcast on FOX between 2017 and 2021. Most recently, he hosted the 112 Emergency Call program broadcast on TRT 1 and is currently preparing for the movie İlk Göktürk.

Murat Serezli's private life has also attracted the attention of the media. The artist, who married presenter Handan Güçyılmaz in 1997, divorced in 2006. Serezli, who married architect Olcay Serezli for the second time in 2009, had twin children in 2011.
