Mürüvvet Sim Caymaz was born on April 23, 1929 in Büyükyoncalı village of Saray district of Tekirdağ. He started performing in Raşit Rıza's theater group when he was only 16 years old, and later performed in different companies such as Ses, Karaca and Şenses. He stepped into the world of cinema in 1950 with the movie "I Forgave Him" directed by Mümtaz Ener.
Between 1950 and 1980, he played main and supporting roles in a total of 284 productions, and also appeared as a voice actor in many films; He also appeared on the screen in commercials. In her last years, she worked as a lottery dealer in Beyoğlu and continued her marriage with theater actor Timuçin Caymaz.
He died of kidney failure in Istanbul on July 29, 1983, at the age of 54. Sim, who was initially buried in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery, was transferred to Şeyhli Cemetery in Pendik by his son in 2015.

The grave of the artist and his wife, whose grave was previously located in Zincirlikuyu, was taken to Pendik, Şeyhli Cemetery by his son and buried in December 2015. In the last years of his life, he worked as a lottery dealer in Beyoğlu.
