Özlem Savaş was born on October 15, 1969 in the Emirgan district of Istanbul. He moved to Switzerland at an early age due to his father Cavit Savaş's job and spent two years there. After returning to Türkiye, he continued his education at Şişli Terakki High School and during this period, he won the TÜBİTAK award in the fields of mathematics and physics.
She became the first woman to study computer engineering at Boğaziçi University and graduate. She started her acting journey upon the advice of her neighbor Hülya Uçansu. He starred in his first film, Three People on a Swing, alongside Yaşar Alptekin and Atilla Saral. Later, with the help of Betül Arım, he joined the Istanbul City Theater and took part in many successful plays there.
