Rangers F.C.

Rangers Football Club is a football club based in Glasgow that plays in Scotland's top-tier football league, the Scottish Premiership. Ibrox Stadium, where they play their matches, is located in the southwest of the city.

Rangers have broken records that are hard to break by winning the Scottish league championship 55 times, the Scottish Cup 33 times and the Scottish League Cup 27 times, and have achieved this success by winning all three cups seven times in the same season, more than any other club in the world. Rangers became the first British club to reach the UEFA tournaments, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1972 and reaching the final twice in the same cup in 1961 and 1967.

In the 2007-2008 season, they succeeded in playing in the final of the UEFA Cup, and 200 thousand people traveled to Manchester, England, with the team on the final day. Rangers have a long-standing rivalry with Celtic, and this clash between the two Glasgow clubs is known as the Old Firm and is one of the most popular derbies in the world.

Founded in March 1872, Rangers FC was one of the 11 founding members of the Scottish Football League and always competed in the Scottish Premier League until the liquidation of The Rangers Football Club PLC at the end of the 2011–12 season. The club, whose name was then changed from Glasgow Rangers to Rangers FC, had a new corporate identity, started from the amateur Scottish football league at the beginning of the next season, moved up to the next league every season, and returned to the Premier League at the end of four years.

It declared its first championship in returning from the amateur league to the Premier League by going undefeated in the 2020-21 season. The following season, they played in the final of the UEFA Europa League, but lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties.
