Serdar Yeğin

Serdar Yeğin was born on January 12, 1980 in Bursa. During his high school years, he attended courses organized by Tayyare Cultural Center in 1995 and took part in various plays staged in this center. He started performing professionally at Bursa State Theater in 1997. After graduating from high school in 1998, Yeğin moved to Ankara for higher education and enrolled in Bilkent University Theater Department.

However, two years later, he took a break from his education and settled in Istanbul, where he entered the Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department.

During the years he spent at the conservatory, he had the opportunity to receive training from masters such as Yıldız Kenter, Haldun Dormen, Mehmet Birkiye and Suat Özturna. He graduated from the conservatory in 2005 and appeared on stage with Arthur Miller's famous work View from the Bridge. During his theater career, he took part in Don Quixote Theatre's production Wave and with this work, he won the New Generation Special Award in Theater with his teammates at the Afife Theater Awards in the 2007-2008 season.

In the 2016-2017 season, he was deemed worthy of the Small Hall Actor Award at the Direklerini Lions Theater Awards for his performance in Entropi Sahne's play Eternal Peace. He currently continues his acting career at Theater Seyirlik in Istanbul.

Serdar Yeğin took part in television and cinema projects as well as the theater stage. The artist, who is married to actress Gülşah Deniz Yeğin, has portrayed various characters on screen and screen. In the cinema, he took part in films such as Ertuğrul 1890, Sea Level and Aşk Kırmızı. Yeğin, who has many years of experience in television, appeared before the audience in TV series such as Teşkilat, Kördükum and Huzur Sokak.
