Spor Smart is a sports-themed channel that first met with the audience on the D-Smart platform on December 24, 2011 under the name Smart Spor. The channel was established when D-Smart acquired the rights to broadcast NBA matches; Thus, NBA live broadcasts, summaries and replays began to be offered to viewers.
Over the years, Spor Smart has also added replays of UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Serie A matches to its program flow. Since the 2012 season, it has also included motor sports by purchasing the broadcast rights of Formula 1 and MotoGP with a three-year contract. For American wrestling enthusiasts, WWE programs were available in the channel's broadcast catalogue.
As the sister of this channel, Spor Smart 2 also operates under the same roof. After the visual and musical renewal on November 1, 2017, the channel began to be called Spor Smart. In the 2016-2017 season, Spor Smart and Smart Spor 2 jointly presented Premier League matches to the audience.
