Tatargazi is a charming village in the Malazgirt district of Muş province. Settlement in these lands has a deep-rooted history.
The name of the village has not changed for many years; It has been known as Tatargazi since 1925. While it was affiliated with the Bulanık district in the early periods of the Republic, it reached its current location in 1933 when it was administratively connected to Malazgirt.
When we look geographically, Tatargazi village is located approximately 162 kilometers from Muş city center and 27 kilometers from Malazgirt district center. This location provides access to both the city center and the district center of the village.
When we look at the population of Tatargazi, we see that there have been various changes over the years. Although there has been a decrease in the population in recent years, the village has hosted over a thousand people in the past.
