Sassuolo Calcio, a football club born in the city of Sassuolo in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, actually has a very young structure, considering the history of the team that plays in Serie A. The team, which managed to be promoted to Serie A years after its establishment, broke new ground in its history with the sixth place it achieved in the 2015-16 season and earned the right to participate in the UEFA Europa League.
This success not only strengthened the club's place in Italian football, but also paved the way for its presence in the international arena.
Considering Sassuolo's presence in Serie B, the team's success in this league also draws attention. The team, which won the Serie B championship twice in the 2012-13 season and the 2024-25 season, proved that these victories were important milestones in its quest to be promoted to Serie A. Its success in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League, its first experience in European cups, became the symbol of Sassuolo's emergence as a new power in Italian football.
